    If you are looking to the SCV for Luxury real estate, there are going to be a few places that come to mind by most of the “locals”.

    The Summits – this is located in Valencia CA Zip 91355 and if you take Valencia Blvd, West from McBean – the first Signal is Goldcrest. Turn South on that street and you will find yourself knee deep in the Summits of Valencia. There is a very strong HOA, home owners association, with a lot of pools and small parks.     The Woodlands – If you were to take the same directions, but turn Northbound on Goldcrest – you will be facing a guard controlled gate. Behind that, you will find the Woodlands of Valencia – Zip Code 91354. A private park, some homes with views of the various holes of the Valencia Country Club and Golf Course, close proximity to the 5 Freeway and being gated are some of interest points for the Woodlands in Valencia.

    Westridge – This is one of the newer communities in the Santa Clarita Valley and has multi million dollar estates and Luxury homes therein. Some of the homes in the gated community of Westridge have views of the various holes for the TPC, tournament players club, golf course! Award Winning Schools here!!!

    Stevenson Ranch – Due to price point, Stevenson Ranch CA is one of those areas in the Santa Clarita Valley Cities that has Luxury homes and estates. Some of the homes in Stevenson Ranch miss the price point, but Price Per Square foot is high do to the very limited inventory which exists in a healthy real estate market. You will find larger homes with expansive back yard footprints – giving you a luxury feel with the amenities which support estate living.

    Newhall You may not think of Newhall CA for being about Luxury and Estate living – however, you would be missing the boat if you were not made aware of the Multi Million dollar market in Newhall California. If you were to take Lyons Blvd and Drive from the 5 Freeway toward Newhall, turn right on Peachland and continue on this road, you’d start seeing what I’m talking about. Multi Million Dollar Estate homes. There is also a wonderfully designed gated community with Super Sized Estate homes with all of the Views you can handle of the Santa Clarita Valley…

    Canyon Country – Sand Canyon Area. Custom Ranch Homes.  For you horse, animal, and those of you who don’t want to be “on top” of your neighbor, types of folks. Sand Canyon in Canyon Country has some of the most impressive real estate for sale of the luxury and estate grade. Another benefit of this area are the lot sizes – some of which start at 1/2 and acre and get larger from there. 3-10 bedroom estates – .25 – 10 acres and everything in between gives this area of Santa Clarita Valley the Luxury Grade of A+.

    While cash is king in real estate – it’s not as powerful as it was in the distressed market regarding Luxury homes and estate purchasing. Today, that ship has sailed. A Good Deal is one where the numbers pencil out for the home buyer and seller also. Most luxury home transactions can be a win win for both buyer and seller.
