Why new home builders are becoming shy

I have stated before on our Housing Radio show for people to watch the new home builders and what they are doing to gage the real estate market.

They have a lot of arms in the way of connection points, their shareholders, investors, etc – they have a lot of points of contact with those in the world who are very financially savvy.

In order to get a grasp on a real estate market, you need a top advisor in the real estate business and to have some external sources of verification.

Santa Clarita real estate number one
You are number one to us!

While I monitor the housing market on a daily basis in Santa Clarita and within the Greater Los Angeles Areas, outside “opinion” is always warranted. At least as a failsafe mechanism so I have something to compare my opinions with.

Today, I completed our latest real estate broadcast from the Housing Radio platform about the state of the Santa Clarita real estate market.

I have seen many real estate reports concerning the new home builders slowing their flow. They are not building as fast as one would expect in a “healthy” real estate market.

I would advise real estate home buyers to throw caution to the wind with anything you read online. Look deeper and you may find reasons that make more sense.

Each and every real estate market is the “best” for a certain type of real estate buyer and real estate seller. There were people who were buying at the height of the last real estate cycle, which thought it “best”. There are those home sellers who are selling towards the bottom of a real estate market, who consider that the “best” time to sell.

While these examples are extremes, they are true. Buying and Selling real estate is a very personal decision and should be considered very carefully weighing all of the “factual” real estate data.

We offer this, as stated on our most recent housing radio real estate broadcast, within our crash course on real estate held in our Santa Clarita real estate offices.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
