Real Estate branding is consistent amongst real estate brokerages.
What about it becoming the “next big thing” amongst real estate agents?
Most all Realtors brand themselves by their name.
John Doe – Jane Smith, while they are nice names. They are not the same as a Brand.
Even when you say the John Doe Group or Jane Smith and Associates, it just does not have the same ring as the “brokerage names” I mentioned at the start of this article.
Even our name, MacIvor – Pronounced MacGuyver, is clever, and it would have been pretty easy to run with that as a brand.
The “MacGuyver of Real Estate”, spelled MacIvor – you get the gist.
But we wanted to completely break away. And who’s to say there is no enough room for us to go that direction with some of our advertising like in the pay per click world and in our content creation efforts? No one.
Proving that is it not too late to change from your name being your brand to something really different.
You don’t have to rebuild Rome. You can start with the slow implementation of the brand you have created. After a while, if it is something people are going to “ask the question” of, then you have a winner.
