Where is your niche?

Where do you focus with your business. At a time when prospects are hard to find, maybe discounting of your services is not the answer. If you offer a service, don’t take the easy road.

Make sure your product or service stands above the rest. Take several moments and get a pen and tablet. Start mind mapping. Write your business and or service name in the center and circle it. Then start with where your best clients come from. Draw lines to each then expand on each local or employment source.

Is your business dependent on lunch times as a restaurant might be? Do you offer a product that is embraced by those of us with “green” in mind? Is your business employment driven?

Find out by taking your last ten consumers. Then find out what walks of like share a common trait. Then explode! Get in there and dig in deeper than an Alabama Tick!

It is all about difference. We have been representing police officers, deputy sheriffs, and highway patrol officers since 1998 with regards to real estate. It has not hurt our Paris911 team a bit. In fact, some in real estate thought we were crazy. But, as with all niche branding, it has overflowed into other venues of business opportunities.

So hence our radio show in Santa Clarita. It is about whom you deem as important to your business. Get in or get out. Remember, Yoda said, ” try, try not. Either do or do not!”

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
