What will the future of Real Estate Syndication websites be?

I think it will be a matter of time, but unless they get a new “reputation” amongst the consumers and realtors – I think they may have to change their business model.

Some of the feed back has been poor to say the least when it comes to Zillow, Trulia and some of the other Syndication Websites.  I have no cross to bear against them.  However, I know some of my sellers do 🙂

When people are searching for local Santa Clarita real estate agents they come across our Paris911 Team at REMAX of Santa Clarita Valley and are astounded to find out how many actually “active” listings are currently on the market for sale.

The first thing they usually ask me is if I have access to the listings that the real estate syndication sites do.  I reply in the affirmative and they then ask why our websites show many fewer listings that are for sale in the Santa Clarita valley cities.

That is when I give them the “rest of the story” and why the real estate syndications had been built in the first place.  I also cover their main focus – that is to turn a dime from agents signing up for their “lead generation” capabilities.

It either costs $$$ to be on top of the organic real estate keyword loaded search engines – or it takes time.  While The Paris911 Team at REMAX has a bit of both – we have chosen to invest time in the building of our brand and client base.

We do this by the publishing of content.  Talking about our craft.  Speaking with those of you that are looking to buy or sell homes, condo’s or town-homes.  We have also branched out into the local Radio World and speak about real estate and to the other local business owners in the Santa Clarita Valley – those that have a product, service or something else to talk about.

Back to the money thing.  We don’t bring in tens of thousands of dollars each month by selling people’s personal information to other real estate agents.  We are the agents that represent people like you.  Those that are searching for the BEST Santa Clarita real estate agent that is able to be found.

We hope we fill that bill.  Because the BEST is such a tall order – we are always very respectful of your choice.  Be Safe – Talk soon…

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
