BTW – we are local real estate agents. We do not sell or do SEO for people. We are not an internet marketing service for hire(except for our specific real estate clients 🙂 .
Now that I have gotten that out of the way – I will let you in on a little secret.
You can get your local Santa Clarita business on page 1 of the organic results, mostly by yourself.
Then you have to give first. You have to share other’s stuff before they will share yours(most cases).
Some of the best “ratios” for sharing and being shared is 70/30.
For every post you put up – share 3ish. In most cases, you are going to want to exceed that ratio whenever possible.
Sharing is Caring 🙂
Whoopsie, what are you going to share? If you have a website, you can start with that. But don’t just click on the link or copy the URL and share that.
Most websites have places where you can “add pages”. If you have a WordPress or Joomla blog – this is super easy.
Why not write an article about a question that one of your patrons had or clients? Then in the same article, after painting the picture, give the answer that you gave to their question.
It works for us. Besides publishing a lot of real estate related data – we also are quite good at answering questions that we find on Social Media, from our clients, from our agents and from others in the real estate fields.
You can also get into Yahoo Answers and see what questions people are asking about your business, service, product or profession.
Find a question that you can answer – write about it and answer it in your own words.
You can than share that post/article, and you will see your on-line presence increase. How often? Three times a week or more is a great start.
You know how I said you can do it yourself. I was talking about you already having a website or blog.
If you don’t, you can wrap your mind around building your own. You can also see some of the sites that have been built that are for sale, like template websites. You can also pay a professional to build you a website that Google and Bing can visit in the easiest way possible. That is so they will check back often and publish your new articles.
We hired someone to build most of our Paris911 systems. However, our very best, we paid a professional to build for us…
At the end of the day, while I’m not too bad at building WordPress sites, the paid for versions trump my other systems hands down.
