Tricky Dicky real estate slippy

Santa Clarita Valley May 2, 2016 market watchSome of the real estate dealings are a bit “greasy”, as to say somewhat slippery. Where you think you have a solid grasp, and it slips away.

Some of the current real estate buyers see that happening as well. On today’s real estate broadcast I spoke about this very thing.

Daily real estate Santa Clarita Market Action – Lights, camera action, and the best practices when it comes to real estate advice and the best ways in which to buy and sell homes. Sometimes, just before execution of a price change, we get the offer which the seller will accept. Funny how that happens. Back on Market Listings Santa Clarita Valley – From time to time, almost daily, there are real estate listings which have had their escrows cancelled. Today we talked about some of the issues that occur when someone starts monkeying with the MLS listing from inside of the machine. Go to HousingRadio.com to listen to our latest Real Estate Radio show broadcast.

So hence the title of this blog post. “Most are not gaming” the multiple listing service. In fact, the MLS should be your most trusted point of real estate search. The reason being is because that system is “enforceable”.

The board of Realtors, which is the proprietary owner of the Multiple Listing Service can fine and suspend agents who want to play games such as placing bad intel and content within a real estate listing. Such as having photos which are not of the subject property.

Other examples include square footages which are not reflective of the property and the source of the data, verifiable by the assessor, builder, owner, or title company.

We in the Santa Clarita Valley, we Realtors, run a tight ship. When it comes to online searches, we have our clients in mind and their protection as first priority.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation. Writing on their Real Estate Blog is a passion. SCVnest.com/blog is where you will find over 10,000 real estate articles.
