If you look closely you will see the “AD” meaning this his something that has been paid for by someone who has a lot of money and wants to get business. There is no other admission requirement but money. I have seen this fail as those who are at the top of the paid advertisements are not actual people, but corporations wanting to re-sell your personal and private information when people search for who is the best Santa Clarita real estate brokerage.
You will see that the first section of the search results for who is the best Santa Clarita real estate broker includes a few “ADS” – the ads which the people thinking they are the BEST Santa Clarita Real Estate Brokerages.
Then you will see the Big Guys. Those who are worth millions if not more who are advertising their products online. Including Yelp and Zillow.

One of the things very much worth mentioning has to do with paid advertisement and paid admission into the top results which have qualifiers.
One simple qualifier could be “Best” – another could be “Top”. These are used because, at least as was the case, it was less expensive to use the qualifier before an expensive keyword or keyword phrase when wanting to buy the pay per click campaign by Google.
It’s still less expensive, but not as much as it used to be.
Those sites allow agents to give them money for leads or a percentage of their commission at closing. They say they are vetting the best of the best and providing you with the results. What if the best of the best are working on referrals and because they have been a top producer in real estate for over 20 years?
What if the best of the best real estate agents are not willing to buy into their platform because they have all of the business they want and need? There is something to be said for not overbooking one’s self and thereby harming their business.
This has been the case during the past few years. Someone will build a website, get people to help start or jumpstart their real estate idea. They get some TV spots and hit the online advertising channels hard. They then get agents who are not top producers to join, promising them all the business in the world for only a part, usually 30+% of their commission. Those agents may need the business. But those of us in the Top 10 of Agents within Santa Clarita Valley – or (fill in the city name), don’t use them and see that in some cases our reputation becomes tarnished by doing so.
