Have you been able to search for home listings with ease? Besides running into some websites who are publicizing real estate listings which are too good to be true in order to deceive you, it’s pretty easy.
We always explain to our real estate clients how easy it is to search for homes. To find the “accurate” rendition of homes for sale, you must use MLS, multiple listing service, enabled websites.
Buying homes – that is an entirely different issue I’d like to cover. There are a lot of the new real estate disclosures which enter the Santa Clarita housing market which are results of lawsuits.
That is what is continuing to feed the real estate attorneys and the court system. When there are issues that arise concerning a real estate transaction, sometimes mistakes and sometimes with criminal intent, people sue.
Those lawsuits create additional paperwork, in the way of disclosures, that are contemplated and agreed to have added to each real estate transaction conducted. RE/MAX produces some local and “inter agency” disclosures, providing more protection for those buyers and sellers who are using my REMAX Brokerage to buy and sell real estate.
CAR – California Association of Realtors and NAR – National Association of Realtors are also two entities who see “holes” within the real estate contracts and have their fingers on the pulse of the “court side” of real estate. They also add to the disclosures which come about within real estate contracts.
SRAR – Southland Regional Association of Realtors – they are our local Board of Realtors and also have a global and local view of the processes which maintain the real estate buying and selling business.
