Short Sales and selling short are not to be taken lightly in the Santa Clarita Valley.
I would start with some googling. I would also make sure those agents that I set up interviews with are based locally.
If you are living in one of the cities within the Santa Clarita Valley and need to sell short your home – make sure the agents you are interviewing have local real estate offices and are brick in mortar in nature.
They need a real live physical location. Make that the location of your appointment. That is important if the mechanism falls apart and the agent you hired is not returning calls or responding to emails.
Horror stories we have heard when we have been interviewed by clients that had a short sale that had fallen apart due to hiring a slacker of a Santa Clarita short sale agent.
