The interview process…
When hiring buyers agents, and we have interviewed a lot of agents, but only have hired 7 over the years – three are still with us today, they need to be know what is expected.
While the job of being a buyers agent seems easy, you get the lead, you work the lead, and you find the lead a home and then you sell that lead the home and get paid…
There is a lot more within that “apparently” simple process when it comes to being, not to mention hiring, the BEST buyers agent possible.
SlideShare is one of our methods…
We have streamlined our process via the above Slideshare video presentation.
If someone is sitting in front of me in my offices, wanting to get the job of Buyers Agent, they had better have done their homework.
If they have not, if they have not googled us or seen what we have plastered all over the internet reference to us Hiring Buyers agents, they are going to have an uphill battle convincing me they are the one for the job.
We are the generators…
There is a reason why we can demand such “high expectations”. That reason is we don’t mandate our buyers agent bring in a single lead.
If they do, that’s great. However, we are the generators with reference to our local Santa Clarita real estate team.
We have the leads, so hence us needing to hire buyers agents. However, if we are unable to serve a client due to us not having the “realtor-power” we will find another local realtor that adhere’s to our Real Estate Code of Conduct that they can work with.
While that “referring” is not our goal, our goal is having our clients work with our Paris911 Team, it is better than someone being sacrificed and thrown under the bus.
Preparation is appreciated
If you are doing the interviewing for your company, or if you are with the HR department, after the applicant has gotten past the gate keepers, do you appreciate it when they have done their homework?
I sure do. I love it when someone I’m interviewing has taken the time to Google Paris911 to see what we are about and what we stand for.
When they are in my offices at REMAX of Santa Clarita and when they use my “core terminology” when answering my queries, I’m elated.
