There comes a time when Real Estate experience over rides Friendship…

We have friends that utilize our Services for Real Estate – but when you have a Friend in the Real Estate Business that conducts their Real Estate Business Part Time – you might want to re-think your strategy.

It was not by luck that we joined RE/MAX in our humble beginnings – in fact, Paris and I did a lot of research in coming to theREMAX balloon being heated conclusion that RE/MAX was where we wanted to start our Real Estate Career.

That was 1998.  RE/MAX is the Number 1 Real Estate company in the World.

We have seen the power of REMAX time and time again when it comes to our clients getting their offers accepted.  We have also seen that wondrous system that REMAX wields in the “protection and security” aspects, when it comes to our clients being kept safe.

Looking back at my childhood – I wanted to be a police officer.  That dream is shared by a lot of youth today.  There is nothing wrong with the smaller agencies and the way in which they conduct their Law Enforcement craft.  But, back in the day, I watched a lot of “Dragnet and 1 Adam 12”.  It was all about the Los Angeles Police Department. I wanted that more than anything and was Blessed to have achieved that dream, October 9, 1990, when I started the Police Academy in Los Angeles.

Today, I am a Realtor and Remained a Full Line Reserve Officer, Assigned to Training Division with the LAPD in Tactics and Firearms Section.  I get to play a small part in the continuing education of the Rank and File police officers and recruits as well.

Does that make me a Better Realtor?  I think so.  It adds 17 years of full time police service and a “code” that was instilled within me during that time.  It also gives me something to talk about with regard to “life issues” and me hating to be sold…

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
