Writing content, on a blog, on Google+, on your website, it makes sense.
More importantly it makes sense to your clients and Google. Google is the number one search engine used, by a long shot.
The Clients of our business is why you are in business in the first place.
Some are GREAT – some are Pains – but, either way they are paying your bills and allowing you to stay in business.
The reason we write about our business is to let the public know you care. There are things(insider stuff) about any business that some people don’t know.
How to buy a good hammer. Why some BBQ knobs are better than others. How to make sure you don’t get 10-99’d with regard to your short sale.
I don’t sell hammers or BBQ knobs – but you can take any business, service oriented, product based, B2B or B2C (business to business) (business to consumer), and write about it.
How it works, write about what concerns clients, how to find and even how to search for specific products or services.
Therefore, when you write, you care and your clients realize it – Plus, as stated before – Google Loves Content over everything else you could possibly do with regard to your website and on-line seo.
1. Knowledge is power – the more write, the more you will research, the more you research the better you become and when it comes to talking with clients, you know your information, the market and your product/service………….. COLD!!!
2. SEO and Internet – The internet is one large web – some of the webs that connect website A to website B maybe very thin, almost invisible. But there are others that are as thick and 3″ rebarb. The way to build strong webs is by linking. When you write, others link to you and visa versa.
3. Developing a Fan Base – because you are going to potentially make up the less than 3% in your industry that will take 45 minutes a day to write a blog post, you will automatically gain fans – over time, your fan base will become quite strong. On-line people, the people that interview you, one on one, or that caller on the phone, are going to be your fans.
More than clients – Fans spread the word about you and your business as if it’s Gospel. Be Safe – Write more and if you are developing writers block, something I don’t believe in, get into google as ask it a question.
Example – Real Estate Questions etc…
