    Crime is down in Santa ClaritaCrime has dropped in the Santa Clarita Valley. The Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station reported its statistics this past week, showing a drop in crime in 2010 compared with 2009. These are statistics that everyone in the Santa Clarita Valley should be happy to hear. Tough times often call for tough behavior and the drop in crime breaks with this trend. The word on the street is that the Sheriff’s Station is doing a great job to diminish crime, allowing residents to sleep easier at night.

    Crime Stoppers is another successful program in the Santa Clarita Valley, allowing for community members to help inform the police with tidbits of helpful information about crimes that have occurred. Safer streets make a safer place to live.
