The “Plugged in” real estate agent difference

When we first started in the real estate business, the better plugged in a real estate agent was, the more success their real estate buyers and sellers had.

We found that the relationships between the agents were are a high point back in the mid 1990’s, prior to the advent of the internet.  Today, the internet, after becoming more noisy, has required agents to dig in better with others in the real estate industry.

That is the way to get your offer accepted and to get your home to sell in the shortest amount of time possible for the most money. Why it's better to be a plugged in realtor than not

When searching for a real estate agent, find out what “networking groups” they are active within.  If they tell you that they are not part of any “bigger picture” group – re-think developing a possible real estate buyer/seller relationship with them.  Because, if the are neglecting the relationship between themselves and their team with those other top producing real estate agents and their teams, they will most likely neglect their relationship with you.

We have a lot of “off of the table” deals occur between our team and those within our networking groups. This routinely happens on both the buyers and sellers side.  If you think about it, it is easier to do a “favor” for a friend than for someone you don’t know.

Real Estate – It’s about friendship between the others in our industry.  If you are are a real estate agent that is constantly “bad talking” others in the business and saying how much the grass is greener when working with you – you are going to turn off other real estate agents making it harder on your real estate buyers and sellers.

Seek out those agents that are members of top producing networking organizations. You can do this simply by searching on-line to see who is writing about the “inner real estate relationships” and how those agents are using this to be advantageous for their sellers and buyers.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
