    Not much of a show stopper this week, but we see the real estate world in the Santa Clarita Valley cities, including Northridge and Granada Hills suffering from buyers having been “priced out” of the local market during the past 14 months.

    Not all buyers, but some are now having to “sacrifice” and buy less of a home than they expected.

    We are also watching as more and more inventory is causing an increase in Days on Market Time frames. Meaning, it’s taking longer for real estate listings to sell, for the most part.

    However, we are still in a Sellers Market and when a property is listed for FMV – Fair Market Value, and placed onto the market, with all the advertisements and marketing staged and ready, it gets multiple offers within a few days.

    Canyon Country Housing Report

    The median listing price in Canyon Country California this week was $228,450. Related to the current Single Family housing inventory in Canyon Country CA, we have 54 real estate listings that have an average Days on Market (dom) of 60 days and that is increasing.

    The Canyon Country Single Family residence market has been cooling off consistently for several weeks, as more real estate listings are available and apparent demand for Canyon Country homes is lessening.

    These trends are having an impact on the current real estate prices in Canyon Country CA, they are decreasing as a result.
