One of the most interesting things I had heard in my younger real estate days was from someone that did not understand Branding.
They were all about their names and name. I explained that the most successful real estate agents had a team with a recognizable name.
While that “name” was not how some real estate companies were founded – such as “Keller Williams” – It was how some of the largest and most successful brokerages were – such as RE/MAX.
While most brokerages have a “name – RE/MAX and Century 21 – those don't have any reference to a human being's surname. Keller Williams – Coldwell Banker and others carry a human component.
Some of the real estate syndication websites also have a “human name” as a part of their make up – but most of the super successful do not. Redfin – Homes dot com – Realtor dot com – Zillow and Trulia – are miss mash of letters consisting of consonants and vowels.
Same with our Brand – in fact when people ask – maybe our brand is a bit different? It's different because it's ours.
The top end of the real estate world is a very lonely place, or so I hear. However, we do manage to keep ourselves surrounded with the best buyers in the real estate world. We also keep close ties with the other Top Producing Realtors in the Santa Clarita Valley Cities and within the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Those “inter dependent” relationships between real estate agent are what make the difference between a buyer and seller getting what they ultimately want.
