Short Sale Pricing and what to watch out for

    During our real estate intel report this morning, I wanted to cover some of the short sale pricing strategy that some agents have when it comes to listing short sales and how that can cause “unnecessary” expectations on the behalf of a home buyer.

This is also good advice for the home sellers in the areas in which we serve – Santa Clarita / Greater Los Angeles. They can then gauge if their competition is legit or nothing to worry about if below fair market value priced short sales are for sale in their neighborhood.

    It’s important to have real estate agents who are fans of full disclosure when it come to speaking with both home buyers and home sellers.

    I wish sometimes we did not run into cases where someone was not being totally upfront and honest when it came to educating a real estate buyer or home seller.

    Remember – you have a lot of choices when it comes to hiring a real estate consultant/representative. One of the primary issues is to get one that takes the time to listen and gives you advice that makes sense. If you are listening or watching them on video and you feel as if they are in it for themselves and could care less about their clients – you are probably right.
