Short Sale Pricing and what to watch out for

During our real estate intel report this morning, I wanted to cover some of the short sale pricing strategy that some agents have when it comes to listing short sales and how that can cause “unnecessary” expectations on the behalf of a home buyer.

Facebook Santa Clarita real estateThis is one of the latest real estate video’s we have produced and I wanted to share it to our real estate clients that are in the process of contemplating buying real estate. This is also good advice for the home sellers in the areas in which we serve – Santa Clarita / Greater Los Angeles. They can then gauge if their competition is legit or nothing to worry about if below fair market value priced short sales are for sale in their neighborhood.

It’s important to have real estate agents who are fans of full disclosure when it come to speaking with both home buyers and home sellers.

I wish sometimes we did not run into cases where someone was not being totally upfront and honest when it came to educating a real estate buyer or home seller.

When it happens once, it’s way too often. Be safe – reach out to us when you are ready and when you want to check out our Facebook Business Page to like it or to give some awesome feedback – click on the facebook icon on this post.

Remember – you have a lot of choices when it comes to hiring a real estate consultant/representative. One of the primary issues is to get one that takes the time to listen and gives you advice that makes sense. If you are listening or watching them on video and you feel as if they are in it for themselves and could care less about their clients – you are probably right.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
