    Hashtags – the new “pound”

    The most interesting thing is that there are some in the world of real estate procurement and advertising that have no idea whatour real estate marketing makes a difference a “hashtag” is.

    Then, I say it’s the “pound symbol” on your phone, the light goes on. But that particular light only shines so far. In fact, it rarely leaves the room that they are in 🙂

    Not intentionally slamming my “kin”, but there are some real estate agents that are way behind the technological curve and those agent’s are missing out and so are their clients, truth be told.

    Enter the Millennial

    When the Millennials are searching for real estate on the on-line channels, you can bet your dollars to donuts, they are using hashtags when doing so.

    Even those that have just “missed the millennial boat” are using hashtags to search for specific real estate agents, available real estate listings, and the freshest real estate deals to be found.

    Selling Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia California real estate appears to be an ever changing field these days with the addition of hashtags, tweets, FaceBook and more.  How do you keep up, and more importantly do you need to?  If you are an individual the answer is probably not, but you should choose to work with a REALTOR® who does.

    Today’s Santa Clarita and Valencia CA REALTOR® relies on social networking sites and websites to spread his impact on those searching to buy and sell their homes.

    While traditional avenues like advertising in newspapers and networking, within a Board of Realtors, remains important, marketing a home is becoming more and more reliant on the internet and access to mobile devices.

    So, if you are thinking of selling a home, get online and do your research because the professionals you come across on your search are the ones who will be able to get your home in front of more people.
