When buying real estate – you definitely need an expert or team of experts on your side.
When selling a home in the Santa Clarita valley you are going to need someone that is “more than an expert”.
How do you find such a Realtor?
It’s true that most of the world, of course not you, get pressured into choosing easily. In fact, I remember in my youth where the “high pressure” technique worked quite well on me.
As for Paris, she did not succumb to “buy now – hurry – I’m the best” without factual Intel as a back up. Call it a different time, I know for a fact it was a different place. 🙂
When buying a new home – The Paris911 Team has always preached to bring your own agent with you. There are several reasons for this, but in the case when you want to sell a home too – they can (or they should) be able to discount some of their services – depending on their worth.
While “worth” is a relative term – you can deduce how much your chosen real estate professional is “worth” by doing some googling. If they are on page 1 within the organic search results and have thousands of local visits from buyers a month, searching and registering to search on their Santa Clarita real estate agent’s website, – that agent’s worth is very high.
While there is only place for one top result and while most are taken by the Real Estate syndication companies, most “home buyers” look for local when they are ready. That is why it is “worth more” to have the “agent listing your home” be at the top of the search engines with their brand, what they talk about and with their websites.
Another tried and true fact – when buyers approach the internet and are looking for homes, those agents, who’s worth is at the top, sell faster, for more money and without as many complications as those that are not.
Selling listings within 24 hours is not hard in a constrictive real estate market. To bring both sides of a “transaction” together with the sale of a newer home coupled with buying a new build home in SCV – that takes an agent or team that is “worth” more.
Side Note: We are advocates of interviewing multiple real estate agents. Therefore, it may take a week to fulfill this process. That is important because selling and buyer representation is not to be taken lightly. Make sure you “honor” your arrangement and have your “mental line in the sand” when you set your appointments with those agents you are going to interview to represent you.
We don’t take listing contracts when meeting with clients. We do this for a reason, we would not like that done to us. We don’t deal with sales people from any “high pressure attitude” in their given field.
