What does a family member or friend do if they receive that dreaded phone call from the Santa Clarita jail in the middle of the night?
We say first to keep cool, calm and give us a call. We can help. We understand the emotional roller coaster a family can go through when a loved one, family member or friend has been arrested and jailed in Santa Clarita, or any other jail for that matter.
We’re members of the SCV community who live, work and play here. We attend summer concerts in Central Park with our neighbors. We swim with our niece and nephew at the Aquatic Center. We know and love the city of Santa Clarita; still named as one of the safest cities in the Country!
However, being arrested and jailed in our city is something that most people don’t ever imagine happening to them; or to someone they care for. We know things can get “out of hand” quickly before anyone can really wrap their heads around it. In general, an arrest will happen first – any questions will be answered later.
When someone is arrested in the Santa Clarita area, they will usually be transported to the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station Jail, located on the corner of Magic Mountain Parkway and Valencia Boulevards in Valencia.
Once there, the defendant will be booked, photographed, fingerprinted or “Live Scanned” along with a nation-wide background check for any warrants, parole holds, immigration holds, etc. This process can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours or longer to complete.
If there is an impending medical condition, a need for medication, etc., arrestees may be transported to a Los Angeles County jail downtown. If it’s a woman she’ll be transported to C.R.D.F, otherwise known as Lynwood jail. (Made famous by Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton).
If they are transferred to one of the larger County jails, the bail process can take much longer; sometimes, as long as 24 hours. It’s always advised to bail your family member or friend out while they’re being held at the smaller station jail for a much faster release time.
For immediate information, you can call us locally at 661-299-BAIL (2245) or toll-free 877-422-4591. We are available for no-cost consultations on a 24-hour basis. We can access fast information about the arrestee and can give you a general timeline of where they are in the booking process, and what it will take to have them released from the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station, or, from any jail in Los Angeles or Ventura County.
We’re a family of professional, caring and articulate bondsmen who will walk you through the bail process step-by-step and advise you in the best way to handle your individual situation. If you decide you want to move forward in bailing them out, we’ll discuss your responsibilities, then work diligently to get the process moving quickly and efficiently for their fastest release.
What’s great is the paperwork can easily be handled quickly by email or fax – privately and discreetly. We can also meet with you personally at our office, your home or the Sheriff’s Station. We’re always available to assist you through the bail process and answer any of your questions.
We at SCV Bail Bonds look forward to serving the Santa Clarita Community with professionalism, efficiency and discretion. We’ll treat your family like ours. Committed to providing you with excellent service and 24 hour round-the-clock support, we’re right here when you need us.
