    When a Santa Clarita realtor asks you “who else are you interviewing”

    This is something that most “confident” realtors do.  When you are meeting with them, or they with you, they will ask you something like the following.

    Don't be fooled by A Santa Clarita Realtor“Let me ask you a question, who else are you interviewing?”

    “Who are the other agent that you are interviewing you to sell your home?”

    “Who else are you interviewing?”

    No matter how the pitch is released, they want to know who else you are interviewing for a couple of reasons.

    Most would think so they can “slam” them or “demean” them to turn you off from wanting to hire them.

    That would be silly and stupid on some many levels.  Maybe that kind of talk will cause you to not hire those doing the desperate talking. I know it would turn me off…

    Think about it, they are at your home, or you are in their offices, interviewing for a job, and they start telling you the other realtors you are interviewing are horrible.

    Sounds a bit too “self interested” to me.

    If you have a real estate agent start tearing up others, that are going to be interviewed in front of you, I’d cut that interview very short.

    Here is the property and ethical stance, “Ah, “So and So”, they are a great agent, and I’m sure they can do the job, the one thing I would ask you is have a look at this…”

    It’s not about verbally bashing other real estate agents – it never should be.  It is about showing the sellers/buyers what you can do as a realtor, that is going to be far above anyone else that is interviewing for the job.

    Anyone can bash anyone at any time. That is easy and does it’s fair share of damage to the uninitiated.

    The key to any professional is how they “shine above the crowd”.
