The local Santa Clarita real estate markets are not without their crazy ways. Not so long ago sellers of real estate in the SCV cities were able to call their shot because of the investor buyers that had been flooding the local Real Estate resale market.
As long as their numbers “penciled out”, they were good to go without an appraisal being conducted.
They bought the real estate listing to the dismay of those buyers that wanted to buy the same home. It was not without having competition. The “owner occupant” buyers did their best, but it’s hard to compete with a buyer having suitcases full of cash.
Today the market has shifted away from it being a full on 100% sellers real estate market, to somewhere less.
That “less” equates to an “owner occupant” real estate buyer’s “more”.
That is why it is an easier task to buy a home in today’s real estate market.
However, there is still bad intel being spread around the blog-o-sphere like wildfire. That “bad intel” is still alive and well from the mouths of real estate agents too.
That is why wanting to hire a real estate agent, that has your best interest at heart, is more critical than ever before.
