Being in the real estate business within the Santa Clarita Valley has it’s advantages. First – We established our business when the “internet” was not a “thing”. That was 1998.
That taught me about client care and actually worrying about doing the best job possible. There was more human to human contact and talking on the phone and in person was a must during each real estate transaction.
We also routinely presented offers to our sellers in person. This includes the buyers being present with their agent and with their lender. This presentation was held at one of the agent’s offices. Typically at the listing agent’s office. We would all sit around the table. These “offering” meetings included all parties. The Sellers, Buyers, Buyers Agent, Sellers Agent, and the Buyers Lender were in attendance.
That is where the true “art of the deal” was born and consummated. It worked well. It taught me a lot about the real estate process and the various negotiation strategies which function best to protect both sellers and buyers of real estate.
Today that process has changed. While we meet with many clients in our Santa Clarita real estate offices, some we meet at off site locations. Real estate offers are accepted and presented, mostly not in person.
In fact, if one would want to present the offer in person, the other agent would be “too busy” or “tied up”. This education was learned by doing. Trial by Fire to be exact. I was an LAPD cop for a long while, even worked motors for 13 years. I have come to find out, since I started in real estate consultation/representation in 1998, real estate sales really does take a constitution of Iron(the kind of iron which does not rust 🙂 ).
Here we are. If you have a referral for a person, family, etc, who wants to buy or sell a home in one of the Santa Clarita Valley Cities, including Castaic, Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia, Acton or Agua Dulce, you are come to the right place.
I’m Connor T. Macivor, thanks for checking out our Santa Clarita agent referral posting. We have a lot of fun representing real estate clients in the Santa Clarita Valley. We also refer a lot of clients out of our valley to agent in areas which we do not service real estate clientele.
BTW, if you are “old school, as am I” – or just want to hear my voice and what I am all about, verbally, call me at 661.400.1720. I’m available and try to answer the phone every time it rings, unless I’m with clients. Be safe and Thank you.
Reach out, let’s connect on social media and elsewhere. I’d glad to be of service to the real estate referrals you send me in the Santa Clarita Valley.
