Landlords know this – with a majority of the Rental and Leasing markets being swarmed with those of you that have experienced hardship first hand – it is the difference between writing a “proof of ability” letter to the landlord and those that are too proud to do so. Also, don’t forget – it is their property you want to rent or lease.
We tell our clients, “it is not about pride, it is about living”. If you want to get what you want, a place you can rent or lease for 6 month or a year – even more in most cases, “Humble pie” will have to be eaten. Which is okay – nothing stays the same for very long.
