Santa Clarita housing and real estate market update 2015.054

    Santa Clarita Housing Data

Real Estate in the Santa Clarita Valley Cities continues to move forward.

Albeit at a much slower pace than we have seen during the past few years.

We have been watching as some of the real estate games are still being proudly played by some realtors.

When it comes to making an offer on a home for sale, some don’t pave the way with good intel.

Such as, is the home really still for sale or has their been a signed off on offer?

We explain this to our Santa Clarita real estate buyers, that although we are accessing the actual Multiple Listing Service, we see that sometimes the “rules are not abided by”.

This is also why the “contacting the agent before showing”, is so very important with each and every home that we are going to show to our clients.

That “status phone call” is a necessary part of showing a real estate client(s).

My time is valuable, my clients time is valuable, there is no reason to look at a home that is no longer available.

The second thing that we speak with our clients about, when talking about viewing Santa Clarita homes, is the fact that sometimes agents don’t call back promptly.

Also, sometimes agents don’t leave their cellular or mobile number in the MLS – making it hard to get into contact with them to ask the necessary questions, which are:

    • Is the home at 12334 anywhere street – still available?
    • Do you have any offers?
    • Rumors of offers?
    • Are there any “contingencies” or “special circumstances” I need to know about?

Without your real estate agent being able to speak with the listing agent before your showing, you maybe wasting your time.

Just for your information, this is the way things are done amongst professional realtors and home sellers/buyers.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
