“Now is always the best time to buy residential real estate!”, you will hear!
That is because most agents are commission dependent and not client dependent.
Most of Those that are commission dependent in real estate representation, only have one thing on their mind, the commission.
Those that are client dependent, take a lot more tact when answering this type of question.
“When is the best time to buy a home?” Should always be addressed as “it depends”. There are a lot of factors for you to look at as a real estate buyer.
You are not going to find all of the answers to your query online. In fact, remember those “commission based” agents I spoke about? Those agents are the types you are going to find online. They have taken their interruption marketing ideas on the road.
It truly depends on several factors. One of which is the historical view of the local real estate market.
If the local market, the one in which you wish to buy in, is not in any “strange cycle”, being one that is a foreclosure primary market, and has flattened out to be reflective of a “normal” real estate market, you can bet your bottom dollar the intel you are going to receive will be the most accurate when answering that question.
Sorry for the Run on Sentence – there was no way around it in making my point. 🙂
