What should Santa Clarita and Valencia CA real estate sellers really do when it comes to showing their homes and properties that are listed for sale?
They should leave it to their agent to do their due diligence.
We run into many issues when it comes to showing homes, where real estate sellers are left in control.
I don’t know if it is because of Lazy Santa Clarita real estate agents or if the sellers really want to be in so much control.
After speaking with some of the Santa Clarita Sellers, I would deduce their real estate agents have not given them the Sellers Speech.
Here are the first few tenants of the “Sellers Speech” that we give our Valencia and Santa Clarita real estate sellers:
Do not be home when the agents are showing your home.
Don’t answer any questions about your home refer them to us.
Make sure you do no negotiation about your home (we had a Palmdale seller, one that gave us a 1 star yelp review, get into trouble who was selling a car in front of their home, and used that as a potential buyer credit…)
As far as scheduling real estate showings – make sure you let the agents work it out – or let us as your Realtors do the scheduling.
The real estate agent you have hired should be doing all of the due diligence when it comes to representing you in the sale of your Valencia and Santa clarita home.
It is with a very recent experience part of my radio show gets gleaned from today. Maybe the Stevenson Ranch Realtor is too busy to give their client the “speech”. Maybe they don’t care.
But I know this, one buyer less, has the potential of being the buyer that would be willing to give the seller their all!
