    Paris and I started in our real estate representation business back in 1999 and 1998 respectively.

    During the time in which I was licensed, I was a full time cop. I remained so for an additional 9 years. I then severed my full time position with the LAPD and remained as a Full Line Reserve officer. A reserve is a volunteer that receives basically no paycheck. It’s was a blessing training the future LAPD officers in Firearms and Tactics. Continuing, at least for a few sessions, the training of new motor cops with their firearms transition course which I helped develop.

    Paris and I chose REMAX of Valencia for several reasons, Primarily three were the primary deciding factors.

    1 – REMAX was and still is the most successful brokerage in the Santa Clarita Valley Areas.

    2 – REMAX, likened to the LAPD, has the best training and more successful agents.

    3 – REMAX has a corporate type approach to a real estate business model. We viewed this, and still do, as being a compliment to our way of operation and the best for the protection of our clients.

    After Paris and I were taken advantage of by the realtor we chose to represent us in 1996 when we bought our first Santa Clarita Valley home, we worked toward becoming Realtors.

    I had been licensed a few months when Paris entered into our business in a full time manner. I could not, as I was still a full time LAPD officer.

    This was something that any successful real estate business needs, at least one full time Realtor. I remember starting without her and working a full time job and doing real estate on the side was a detriment to my real estate clients, the few I had.

    When Paris joined our clients were elated to always have a connection point. When I was in court, Paris was there. When I was working LAPD, Paris was there. When I went overtime Paris was there. You get the picture.

    That is the way it was and still is today at our REMAX of Santa Clarita business. Paris is there.

However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
