I say this because I know something about branding. I was a LAPD regular for over 17 years. In that time, when I traveled around the United States and people asked where I worked, there was no doubt after I said “LAPD”. Whether, infamous or famous, their view was what it was and there was little I could do to change it.
Paris and I branded ourselves, or should I say started to work on branding ourselves, back in the late 1990’s when we joined forces in real estate with Remax. Fight as I might, there was very little I could do to get Paris911 recognized as a real estate brand, except in our Niche market. Getting our Paris911 brand recognized in our niche market was no small feat either, the writing, the advertising, and other methods of introduction were expensive, time consuming, but worth it!
I gave up – trying to conquer The RE/MAX brand!!!. :-). Paris and I are Re/Max realtors. We are proud of that fact and have a local “niche” real estate team in the Santa Clarita Valley known as Paris911.
