Reason number 3 to Move to a new neighborhood or community – the Cops

We post up the top reasons why people want to move on our REMAX Relocation Blog. We have found that in most cases it has to do with the following reasons.

    Number 1 – OutGrown – family Reasons.

    Number 2 – Jobs/Employment

    Number 3 – Safety/Security

Let us get into the number 3 reason why people move or relocate.

In the Santa Clarita Valley we are Blessed to have the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Throughout the years, since Paris and I have called the Santa Clarita Valley our home, we have had very few “professional interactions” with the Deputies of the LASD. 🙂

However, We had been in a couple of fender benders that required their response and I also called because I observed some “suspicious” activity in one of the local washes with some kids.

You know, in any city, more than that happens, but the “RIGHT” response by the local law enforcement agency is paramount.

The LASD is one of the positive points of attraction to the Santa Clarita Valley Cities. I was LAPD for 22 years and retired as a Reserve officer – there were 17 full time years in there too, so I’m not pitching the LASD and Santa Clarita as a lay person, I know first hand of their superior standards and “top shelf” performance records.

Be safe – here is our latest advertisement in one of the Sheriff’s publications – Be safe and reach out and Hug a Deputy Today(Actually – don’t hug a deputy – they may think they are being attacked…)

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
