With one Video I get the following:
I record a Video on Camtasia.
I take that video and place a quick video intro on the timeline.
I then separate the audio from the video on the timeline.
I resize the video and publish it to YouTube after writing the title, narrative and tags.
I delete the video component on Camtasia on the timeline, so I only have Audio Left.
I place a pre recorded intro to my podcast before, maybe a bumper, and my outro audio snippet at the end.
I export the audio and modify the file name to a .mp3 file.(I’m using a MAC)
I upload the audio show(podcast) to soundcloud and enter the narrative from YouTube.
I upload the audio show to Blog Talk Radio and insert the narrative from YouTube. In BTR, I add photos that I saved from my most recent Slideshare presentation.
I take the YouTube Video and write a blog post on our main blog – inserting both within the posting.
I insert one of the appropriate photos that I had captured from my latest Slideshare presentation or Haiku Deck.
I then pin that photo directly from my blog to Pinterest, capturing the link back to the article(post).
I then share via Hootsuite and Scoop.it to my social media channels, inserting appropriate Hash Tags.
I enter my social media sites – Twitter, Google Plus, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest and share other people’s pins, articles, photos and statements.
I interact and share at seven to one radio: 7 to each 1 I post!
Rinse and Repeat…
It all comes down to having a schedule and sticking with it. Maybe you are not a YouTube type or podcaster, make yourselves a schedule and stick with it. You will see yourself and your business starting to build great results in Google for long tail searches.
The Long Tail is where you want to be because those finding you are not tire kickers. Many thanks for reading, sharing, pinning, plus one’ing and liking…
