New Listings that we are working with obtaining buyers for – Santa Clarita Valley

    There are old agents and there are bold agents, but there are very few Old and Bold agents.

    Spoken of Pilots back in the day and applicable in today’s era – Real Estate agents are an interesting breed.  Some will lie without having to and others never lie, even it it means that they may lose their commission.

    How do you find those that are more of the 2nd type of real estate agent versus those that lie at every turn?

    See what they are when presenting on-line.  If they are not presenting, youtubing, audio podcasting and radio showing – it does not mean they are liars – but, how else are you going to know?

    There are a couple of other ways that you may be able to determine honesty.  You could trust some of those “review websites”.  They are with paid for the the agents that are within their reviews – or they have reviews written by their mothers or “non contents”.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

      Find your e-mail posts and videos very informative. You probably don’t remember me, but I called you and we talked about a month ago. I’m the one in Green Valley/Santa Clarita 91390 who’s hired several realtors and even prepaid MLS for awhile in trying to sell my lovely unique home. I know the buyer is out there looking for a specific place such as ours and that we will eventually connect. At present time my property is FSBO (3% CSB) on zillow, yahoo and craigslist, but not listed on MLS. We’ve already lost a lot of equity in the downturn and amount paid out in escrow is more than ever important factor. Honestly, right now, am almost scared to put my trust in another realtor to list my home, and sure know what you mean by a realtor’s lies, deception and extremes they will go to and not truly working on your behalf. Channel 7 Eyewitness News just recently discussed this topic re local realtors and complaints registered by sellers. Anyway, if I were to go with another realtor, I would probably pick Paris911 as I find that you are informative, appear honest and sincere in your approach and demeanor. and quite factual with no heavy BS. A local appraiser has already confirmed no comps similar to my home, which I already knew. A lender this morning informed me my place is showing at $240,000. Anyway if you would like to drive up and see the place and meet with us, just give us a jingle. THX

        I am always confounded by those that will do everything to cheat for money. I know that money drives the world – but to take advantage of anyone and not to give them the truth, no matter how difficult it may be to deal with, that is something mom would have slapped me upside my head for neglecting.

        Real Estate is an interesting world. Some of the agents are not taking the time to listen and to address the concerns of the prospective seller. They are only in it for themselves, with no vision of what the future may bring.

        Here is a great example – you have written a comment in a blog article I have written. Once I approve your post, it will live forever and be indexed on Google.

        So Hence the reason I removed your name and phone number.

        You could just as easily post of the “negative” about your experiences in hiring “listing agents”.
