Local Santa Clarita foreclosure Updates with a Short Sale Twist

    Below, we have posted all of the most recent foreclosure activity for the Santa Clarita Valley Cities.  You will see some Notice of Defaults(pre foreclosures), bank owned real estate and some that have been sold to thirds.

    Short Sales in Santa Clarita CAHere is the twist – having to do with short sales.

    If you see your home below, in the way of the Notice of Default filings(NOD), that means you have not made your payments for at least 90 days.

    It may benefit you to attend some real estate agents short sale briefing.  They should be able to cover the differences between Foreclosures  Deed’s in Lieu and Short Selling.

    The internet has some great Short Sale resources, but most are attempting to get your business or a referral fee from converting you into a client for real estate agents.

    Yes, the lead generation game exists in the Short Sale world as well – It seems that we cannot break away from it.  I’d Say This – We do short sales too.  However, we are not the best fit for everyone.

    Do some Googling, set three appointments with the self proclaimed Short Sale Experts, if you are in the Santa Clarita Valley – make us one of your stops along your way to “enlightenment”.

    We will have you sit in our offices and discuss your options and take it from there.  After we are finished with our Short Sale presentation and our Short Sale Q and A session, more than half of the Short Sale meeting attendee’s sign up to have their home listed and to be in contract so their bank gets off of their back. (Short Sale strategy number 3 – have your bank contact your Short Sale Realtor when they call attempting to collect a debt…)

    Interesting side note.  We get calls all of the time from those that have given their bank, those whom we are negotiating their short sale, our number.

    The automated calls go something like this, “If this is Stan Smith(changed to not a real person) – stay on the line and do not hang up. We have a very important message for you.  If this is not Stan Smith, it is a violation for you to continue to listen to this message.  If you continue to listen to this message, you are acknowledging you are Stan Smith.  Stan Smith, we are collecting a debt, all information obtained from this telephone call will be used for the purpose of collecting a debt.  Because you have listened to this message, you are Stan Smith and are ordered to call the “Blah Blah Law Group” – at 800………….”…

    If I’m lying I’m dying – is that the greatest thing you have ever heard?  Someone has an automated debt collector…  Times are apparently though in the world of collections.
