Some don’t want clients to know. They are part of a team. I don’t see the issue with that. When we were enroute to a help call or a citizen in distress radio call, we always showed up in numbers.
Having one cop show up would not be very helpful. However, they do say, “One riot one ranger..” However, we were not Rangers – We were LAPD officers.
One of the fondest memories occurred when I felt as if I was taking my last breath. I was in a knock down drag out fight with someone that did not want to go to jail for a Felony Warrant issued for ADW – Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The funny thing is that I had no idea at the time that he was wanted. He attacked me because he thought I knew more than I did, apparently. 🙂 I pulled him over for blowing a stop sign – go figure.
It felt like we had been fighting for hours – when it was only 75 seconds. But It was a very active 75 seconds. If you ask any MMA fighter or Boxer – they will tell you a “round” can feel like a eternity. I suppose I was getting as good as I was getting, but handcuffing this fella – that was not going to happen until my team arrived.
The tables were turned and early on I was able to hit my help button on my radio. During the fight, while I was protecting my firearm and attempting to subdue the felon, I heard sirens in the distance. They started to get closer and I was happy to see a team of police officers arrive on scene. It was quickly over, the criminal was placed in handcuffs and was booked into jail after being checked by the hospital staff.
The Point being – it’s nice to have a team assist you. Working with several real estate agents that are part of the same team is beneficial. On our direct staff – we have three buyers agents – full time, and a full time Office Administrator. Then you have Paris and I.
This does not include all of the additional support personnel that work directly with my Team of Paris911 at REMAX. We have Pest Control inspectors, Home Inspectors, Contractors, Roofers, Escrow agents, Title Officers and other ancillary folks.
We all have different methods when it comes to operating within a team concept. However, there is one thing I can state with 100% belief – “our clients are much better off with our team versus having only one “go to” or only one person doing the research and keeping their eyes peeled for what they are looking for!”
What do you think? Would you like to hire a real estate agent that works within a team that has the same goal of making it happen for Client? What about when considering to sell a home – would it be better to have a team working on finding the buyer of your home or a single agent?
