In the wonderful world of real estate there is the multiple listing service and then there is real estate syndication.
While some might think those two things are polar opposite’s, in essence, one could look at this and say both of those are working towards the same goal. That goal would be the goal of selling real estate.
I know for a fact that there are a lot of agents, and people that are not in real estate, who aren’t fans of real estate syndication websites because they look at them as if they are taking away clients from those that ultimately should be the ones obtaining those clients.
They do this by out Advertising out marketing real estate agents and sellers of real estate.
It wasn’t always this way, in the beginning Real Estate syndication websites did not exist. In fact in the beginning, Real Estate syndication websites had difficulty starting up because the boards of realtors didn’t like what they were doing.
Today, it’s not uncommon for an agent to be paying $10,000 or more dollars a month to real estate syndication websites in order to purchase leads.
The leads they are purchasing are of those people that are searching all those websites.
Agents ask me often if it’s possible for them to out Zillow Zillow. They’re referencing being on page one within Google search.
I say yes, yes, yes, it is definitely possible to out Zillow Zillow.
