Have you seen that exact quote printed on a real estate agents or mortgage lender’s business cards?
Maybe you have seen that in their email signature?
The reason why I’m going to take apart this simple statement is to let you know it’s not always that simple.
Some people don’t forget those who served them in the best way. Some of our clients refer business to us without me having to tell them to please refer business to us.
However, some people also think that maybe their service provider is too busy for their referrals.
In some cases, that may be true. If the “service provider” is worth their salt, they will tell you they don’t have time.
I’m not sure about you, but I don’t make it a habit to turn down business.
I would make the time or expand my business if I were “too busy”.
In the business world, it pays to ask. Big in some cases. If you meet a person and if that person does not have any need for the service you provide, ask them if they know anyone who does.
Asking never hurt anyone. In fact, when I go to the mall or shops to purchase items, I always ask if they have “extra coupons” that I would be able to use.
You would be surprised to know how often I’m getting an extra 25% off of the sales price!
I’m Connor MacIvor and I’m excited to accept any referrals you have for me and my Santa Clarita real estate business.
I’ll be here for those referrals as I was for you and yours. I’m never too busy to work hard for those whom you refer to me.
BE safe – thanks for taking the time and if you are a real estate agent, you may want to keep asking, it never hurts and most times will help!
Remember to keep updated as to where the current housing market is. You can do so by listening to the longest running real estate broadcast for the Santa Clarita and Valencia CA cities.
