    Searching for Foreclosures can be quite easy.  If you are wanting to buy a home today, that has had a 8-12% reduction built in to the price, a Foreclosure or bank owned property might be for you.

    Not all Foreclosures are created equal. The discounts might not be as big as you might think.  This depends greatly on who own the foreclosures.  If you go to the auction and buy a property at the auction, the property is a Foreclosure.  When you want to take the property and flip it, you want to make the most money possible, right?  Of course.

    Bank Owned homes are Foreclosures as well.  However, their estimate, that they are looking for from the Broker or Agent that conducts the Broker Price Opinion, is based at a 90 day estimate of value.
