For the most part, the Multiple Listing Service encompasses most of the Boards of Realtors from all across Southern California. However, there are a few exceptions. From the Santa Clarita Valley – sharing a northern border with Los Angeles – down to Huntington Beach – you are covered with the Multiple Listing Service engine that if fed by the CARETS feed.
However, that is where it starts falling apart. Looking at all of the Southern California Cities – some Boards of Realtors are not sharing their data. I totally get that, it’s like the “Real Estate Lead, syndication and monetiziation websites” that are all about making money off of the Seller’s listings of the world and not giving any of their profit back.
The System updates several times per hour and is drawn directly from the Multiple Listing Service.
It has been a long time since I had done a video from the drivers seat of my car. This AM, I went to preview a Foreclosure property for one of our “out of town” investor clients. After shooting the video, the camera was already out, so I thought I’d give you the intel as far as the Multiple Listing service and how to access it.
BTW – when you are using some of the search engines on-line, most are going to require registration at some point. Be CAREFUL…
