We are just north of Los Angeles City. In fact, we are the next suburb that is connected to the city of Los Angeles geographically.
Our southern border is the northern border of the city of Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley to be exact.
The San Fernando Valley is considered the city of Los Angeles.
I know this because I was a cop for the LAPD for a long while. I worked south of the 10 freeway. That was considered south central Los Angeles and was there during the last Riots.
I worked Central Traffic Divison as a new and tenured motor cop – that was when I had my first motorcycle crash at the 110 freeway and approximately Hill Street – back August 12, 1995. That was my pronounced Alive Day when I should have been killed.
There are many AI -type systems online – those who tout their artificial intelligence is superior to human intellect where they are able to show you which homeowners are most likely to sell.
They build these systems and then offer them to the local Santa Clarita and other real estate agents. They say they, the agents, will be very successful when it comes to real estate by utilizing their systems.
I have yet to meet one that has hit home run after home run by utilizing any of those types of systems.
I would never give up hope. When one Santa Clarita Valley seller wants to sell, I’m sure they are considering particular factors they have in common with other homeowners.
To be able to find out if this is true, there is going to have to be some interruption marketing taking place. Just knowing that someone may want to sell because another Santa Clarita home seller is selling that has particular attributes, will involve some direct communication. Those agent wishing to use this software are going to have to do some door knocking or at least some malling. They may be able to use the telephone or email of the homeowner has left their personal information online, but that would be a stretch.
My online footprint is massive. But I don’t get overwhelmed by telemarketers because I’m on the do not call list provided to me by the federal government. I also keep my spam email’s to a minimum because I only reach out to those who have expressed a trust in me and do not continue to go after those who don’t want me to be of great assistance to them and their Santa Clarita real estate needs.
Over the past years since 1998, I have learned that people don’t want to be interrupted. They want to be relaxed and find those “service providers” when they want them. When they want a service provider they are going online and asking. They are smart to steer clear of those syndication systems. They are looking for page 1 results that are not “Ads” of the pay per click kind.
