How are you doing on the first page of Google Now?

Maybe not too good.  Have you seen the changes within the SERP’s on Google?  Search engine results pages (SERP’s).  They have made a big push for those that are active on Google Plus.  We have watched as there are very few Real Estate agents interacting on the G+ platform.

Posted on the first page of Google for Connor T. MacIvor

However, if you do, interact that is, on your Google Plus account with regard to your business, you are likely to see HUGE returns in the SERP’s – primarily Google’s.

It does not take a rocket scientist.  All it takes if for you to make the connections and add people to your circles. Those people that you have something in common with.  Have a look around Google Plus to see more of how it works, comment, +1 other’s comments, posts etc.

The mobile app is extremely clean too.  When you search for real estate in the Santa Clarita Valley, whether showing personal results on Google or with that function turned off, if you shared anything written on your site within Google+ you will start seeing those posts show up on the first page.

Pretty soon – the first page of google will only have room for local business places listings and the “Rel=Author” contributions you have made with regard to your publishing of content about your business.

Keep an eye on this platform and it’s about time you got involved if you have not  yet.  It is only going to get more apparent and active with regard to having those that are about “contributing and interacting” showing up first at the top of the inquires on Google.

As promised – if you want to know more of “how to do this”, I’ll let you in on it.  All you have to do is ask.  We are not SEO experts, my knowledge will only get you so far – but it’s free 🙂

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
