    High School Students in Santa Clarita Aim to Make Difference

    Driving in Santa ClaritaHigh school students in Santa Clarita aim to make a difference. When students step up to send a message it is typically one to be heard and students from Bowman High School are hoping their message will not only be heard but that it will also save lives. “Every 15 Minutes” is coming to the Santa Clarita Valley through these students. The program is meant to teach teens the importance of recognizing the consequences of drinking and driving, texting and driving, and reckless driving in general.

    Watching and listening is part of the experience of learning for teens in the Santa Clarita, and the lessons are being brought by Bowman High School, the City of Santa Clarita, and the Sheriff’s Station. It is precisely this spirit of caring that the Santa Clarita community thrives on.
