During this past week, we have had 138 new real estate listings hit the market as “new” listings. That is over the average 7 day recap with application to the past 7 months.
This could be the beginning of the ‘market change’. Where the trusty torch is handed from the “sellers market” to the “buyers market”.
With the current 544 active homes, condos and townhomes for sale in the Santa Clarita Valley Cities – Up 15% from this time last month, we are seeing inventory replenished at a faster rate than it can be sold.
If you own a home – you need to keep tabs on your home. If you own a townhome – then you need to keep tabs on your townhome. If you own a condo, the same applies. Know what homes are hitting the market at the moment they do. Find out what your neighbors home really sold for. Wondering if there are any distressed listings in your neighborhood? This system will give that you and protect your personal and private information. It will only be seen by yours truly and I will keep it under lock and key – you have my word!
SCV Real Estate News part 2
We have 1203 real estate listings on the market – between active, backup and pending statutes.
That number is also up from last month. As we venture deeper into the summer, we will continue to see the rise of real estate inventory. However, that “rise” will not potentially be enough to turn the market on it’s head and back into the full swing of a buyer’s real estate market.
Do yourselves a favor. Make sure you are getting the BEST intel possible when it comes to real estate, housing and the local advice from those pretending to be like me 🙂
