When your Radio Show has been confirmed and you get the time and date of it, we have put together some simple instructions to make your appearance as “attractive” as possible.
Things to consider. Landline phones are the best for Audio Quality. The next best type of call in device will be a Cellular or Mobile Phone. VOIP, internet phones like Skype, are the least pleasing option – However, if that is all you have – go with it.
The Land Line phone gives advantage due to it being “hard” wired and the chances of calls dropping are rare. The Cellular or Mobile phone mic’s are usually less quality than a land-line phone and the chances of dropping the call rise(if the call drops, then call back in, I’ll wait for you 🙂 )
You are the Guest!!!! SKYPE and other types of Internet Phones are “one way only” mechanisms. While I have been trained to not step on a caller when they are speaking, sometimes it cannot be helped. When this happens, it takes several milliseconds for the system to catch up and it sounds….. “interesting”…
We also have a “chat room” with the Santa Clarita Radio Show. You can visit at the time of “live” airing by going to and type your comment into the Leave a Comment Box. I’ll see it and get your question for our guest on the “air”.
We also accept call-ins’ but you must introduce yourself in the method described above, by leaving your information in the “comment box” with your name, phone number(so I can verify which call is you), and what your calling into the show about. This protects my guests and keeps them from getting too many “crazy callers” 🙂
About 5 minutes before your Scheduled “Air Time”, call into to the Santa Clarita Radio Show:
