You may not have a handle on the government, that chess game of people releasing, manufacturing and making up stuff to keep us informed 🙂

When I was in the police department if you were interested in real estate. It seemed that every person who knew was the consummate expert in real estate. The same applied to those of us who talked about the stock market, always another would peek out their head and let you know how they own the market and make millions per quarter.
Those “experts” were face to face. Imagine what you can find online when asking the question. You will see those who are paying for ad space first.
These are the PPC people. They may be paying $10.00 a click. That is paid out of an account which they are paying for. Some of the PPC campaigns are paid in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
There could be good info there about buying or selling real estate. However, without proper vetting, how do you know for sure. It could be they are paying for placement of bad, self-absorbed information which is self-serving at best.
Local – the Local Santa Clarita (insert the city name you want), real estate agent is where you want to start.

When I get an online inquiry I can usually have a client that does not want to hear it from the horse’s mouth, go to a resource I have built. I have been doing this real estate representation and consultation thing since 1998.
I can tell you, approximately what your home is worth. I have to see it to have 100% confidence in my ‘real estate records’ research. I have often increased the home’s value after viewing the property. Because those home sellers have done “extra” than the comparable’s owners have done. Getting that Intel over the phone is quite consuming. It’s better to view the Seller’s home because I know what I’m looking for because I have done the research. If all of the homes have remodeled kitchens and the seller’s home does not, that is something we want to talk about. If the comparables have had yards with a slope and the seller I’m working with has none, that is a conversation I want to have with my seller.
