Video number one Real Estate Facebook – brings me to you speaking about loans and real estate lending – there are ways in which to borrow money to purchase residential real estate without creating issues for you and yours. Also, I give you some great questions to ask before you sign on the line which is dotted to obtain your home loan or mortgage. View our Number One Video on Facebook via SCV661 for borrowing money to buy a home.

During our fourth LIVE Facebook real estate video we get into the questions that are asked when clients request viewings but cannot see the particular real estate listing for one reason or another.

There can be many reasons for this, but none are typically because of your real estate agents fault – unless they are lazy or too busy to give you the best in real estate service.

If the home, condo or townhome is tenant occupied – then the tenants have particular right before a showing can take place. It maybe that the tenant needs 48 hours notice before a showing, and in some cases, they have other rights which they agreed on when they signed the lease.

Sometimes real estate sellers and their agents like to “tease”. They are wanting to sell their home, but they also want to create a buyers frenzy. Where they have buyers stacked up to see the “release”. Kind of like a popular movie premier.

Then you have those agents who are “too busy” to answer questions, on the behalf of their sellers, from agents representing home buyers.

When wanting to view real estate listings for sale, if I’m the buyer’s agent, it’s important for me to speak with the seller’s agent before I show the property to my real estate client.

The same works when the shoe is on the other foot – When I’m representing the home seller, I make myself available for the inquiries from the agents representing their buyers. If I don’t do this, I am doing my real estate sellers a disservice!

Know this, a top producing real estate agent, as we are, will not waste their or their clients time by showing a home without first speaking with the listing agent!

Unfortunately, while I believe in this philosophy, some other real estate agents do not. 🙁

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
