Don’t let Web 2.0 B.S. dazzle you when choosing a Santa Clarita listing agent

    I remember my days with the LAPD.  When you are instructor in anyone of the disciplines within the Department, you typically have to not only be able to teach the subject – you must be able to perform the task in front of the audience.

    You have to be able to do it slowly – explain it – and then perform it at maximum speed with the utmost in precision.  It was that way while I was a Firearms instructor.  We had a close contact phase – snapping from close contact to on target and firing as fast as possible while maintaining 10 ring accuracy (the center of the target, a pattern of no more than a silver dollar).

    The distance from the front of the weapon to the target was approximately 9 feet.  This required skill, as did demonstrating on how to clear a Class III malfunction at high speed in front of the class.  Compounding the situation would be performing a class III malfunction with your weak hand as you simulated your primary hand being mortally wounded.     Point being – in real estate, an agent can WOW any seller with how their home is going be marketed using the Real Estate marketing “trigger words” of the day.

    Those are great selling and marketing channels that should all be used – but the more important thing to ask yourself when hiring a local Santa Clarita real estate agent to sell your home is where are they on-line?  Where are the buyers searching for homes for sale, in what manner and is your agent of choice coming up on the first page (organically) – under the sponsored searches, under the local ads, within the Organic Results?  

    If they are hitting in the Organic Results on page one – HIRE them – because that is where the real estate buyer’s eyes go when they are surfing the web looking for homes that are for sale in the city where you home is being sold.

    Do some Googling of your own. Look for such keywords on google as:

    • Santa Clarita realtors – Top Search phrase
    • Santa Clarita real estate agents – over 20K inquires a month
    • Santa Clarita REMAX – local and world wide brand
    • Santa Clarita foreclosures – a lot of people search for this
    • Best Real Estate agents in Santa Clarita – Many inquires to allow Google to make the decision
    • Top Santa Santa Clarita Realtors – “Top” is another Qualitative term being searched for my many home buyers

    That should give you a good idea of which Santa Clarita Valley agent is at the top of the organic Results.  You are looking for Local Real Estate agent Websites, not the Syndication sites like Realtor.com – Redfin – Zillow – Trulia or Homes dot com.  Be safe and search well – let us know if you need any assistance – Many Thanks for reading and please feel free to subscribe and share!!!
