Does your real estate search website do this?

New on Site for SCVnest real estate site

If I were any more excited at the new “at a glance” intel I had implemented on SCVnest.com, I’d be twins 🙂

“At a Glance” – To be able to see the real estate listings and how current the refresh rate is from the actual Multiple Listing Service.

You will be able to view real estate listings in the Santa Clarita Valley and in the other Southern California areas at the same time us real estate agents get to view them.

In fact, if you are looking for other “intel” as it relates to open houses, foreclosures, distressed real estate inventory, and other types of “conditional” real estate listings – scvnest will also show you so you are able to see it at a glance.

As per a request from some of our awesome clients, we were able to have this change completed on SCVnest.com so you don’t have to guess as to the status or condition of a real estate listing.

Something worth noting is the fact we are getting our real estate listings directly from the MLS, multiple listing service. This is the system where the homes for sale by Realtors are uploaded.

Zillow and Trulia don’t have access to the MLS data feed because they are not accountable in the way being Realtors, which would provide an enforcement mechanism to their businesses. Agents pay the real estate syndication websites a lot of money for the leads they generate. The leads are your personal and private information.

With being a realtor I have to abide by rules and ethics when maintaining a real estate website which is displaying real estate listings. I also need permission to publish such a website, such as SCVnest.com.

One of the ladies at the Southland Regional Association of Realtors had to give my site the once over and approve me getting MLS – multiple listing service access.

Then other reviews by Bigger Entities had to take place. REMAX International – REMAX of California and Hawaii – California Association of Realtors – National Association of Realtors (CAR and NAR).

Sites have to include information about me. My CABRE – license number. My name. My office. My broker. My address. My phone number. My blood type(jk). etc.

With a true realtor website that is displaying the multiple listing service listings, there shouldn’t be any “men behind the curtain”. You should be able to view what you are looking for.

Here is a tip when it comes to searching on Zillow and Trulia, if you still desire to. Make sure you grab the link to whatever property you find on those sites and are interested in for your agent to vet. If that same listing is not on your agent’s website, and if they have the real MLS feed into their site, the listing is probably a hoax or trick.

click the heart if you are interestedBTW – see the little “heart” in the corner of each of the real estate listings displayed on my SCVnest real estate website?

Each one can be clicked if you are interested in that specific real estate listing.

You are also able to choose multiple properties to get information about and even to view live and in person.

A final note – make sure you register to get the newest real estate listings that hit the local markets for sale within the Multiple Listing Service on SCVnest.com

When you do, you can feel safe because you are not going to be spammed. Also, your personal and private information will not be sold, traded or leave my personal grasp. I’m Connor Macivor, google me to see what I’m all about and be safe.

Thanks for searching on our SCVnest website for homes and real estate. I am excited to be your real estate representative and realtor!

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home. There were many things that the agent they had hired did not explain and disclose, which per law he should have. Getting that agent on the phone after they closed escrow and after he had gotten paid was impossible. Paris and Connor called the broker, the board of realtors, the office manager and all they received was the promise of a phone call back. The remedy did come, but not as fast and in the way they wanted. That act - that bad agent was the reason why Paris and Connor became Realtors. That was all they needed to vow to never let the same fate befall anyone else, that befell them. Today Connor and Paris are focused on client service. Protection and top-shelf service with regard to their real estate clientele. They primarily work within the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. However, for a referral, where 80+ of their business is referrals they have License and Will Travel to other parts of Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County to handle real estate transactions for those who trust their real estate operation.
