I don’t know how you Google, but I know how I do. I entered the Keywords: Santa Clarita iPad repair. I then got the results for one local business. I shot over an email from their website, I also identified the phone number as being text capable, so I shot over a text message:
Here is how the Text SMS conversation went:
“I’m Connor MacIvor, I dropped my iPad and the Glass Broke. I found you online. Would you fix it for me and what would it cost?”
“Connor@paris911.com is my email for verification”.
The Response (TR): “Hey Connor, which iPad do you have?”
(me): “The newest one.”
(tr): “okay no problem, to replace the front screen it would cost $145 and only takes 45 minutes to replace. It will look brand new after the new screen is installed. Just let me know when you want to stop by.”
(me): “Can you do it today?”
(tr): “Do you have the white or black one?”
(tr): I’m all out of black, I have white, what I can do is give you a call when I receive more black screens. I should receive more by this Tuesday.”
(me): “Can I use the white one?”
(tr): “Sure thing, it will only change the color”
That was the text conversation we had. It was a few minutes driving time from my home to where SCV iRepair is located. I know what you are thinking, does this void the warranty? Probably. However, 145 versus 599 for a new one, I’m thinking this is the better deal. You decide, just know this service is available in the Santa Clarita Valley if you need it.
Also, I’m happy 🙂
