    • alarms
    • Sprinklers
    • cable boxes
    • media hardware

    In most of the Santa Clarita home’s that I sell or show to our SCV home buyers, I find that the updates are to the point of covering all of the items I listed where the Day Light Savings time adjustment is taken care of automatically.

    Some of the items that I express to our home buyers and sellers they should take care of twice a year are batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

    I also think a plan to replace the HVAC filters is also awesome. Of course, if you don’t change them before the spring forward time.

    Another consideration would be to have various inspections completed during the week following Day Light Savings Time.

    Maybe have your roof inspected and your gutters cleaned out?

    Don’t forget batteries in your Safe’s, those which use digital combination locks.

    New Batteries in flashlights and lighter fluid in lighters.
